Then came the countdown clock on my dashboard—a bright timer nudging me to “Confirm Payment.” Timers are behavioral nudges, not compliance. The longer I refused, the more contradictory the messages became: one promised refunds post-release; another said irrevocable. It’s improvisation, not policy. I’ve preserved logs, warned my bank, and compared notes with other users seeing the same script. Don’t pay theatrical fees with scientific-sounding names. Real security doesn’t invoice you at the exit door.
