They’ve told me I need to pay a $2,500 “compliance clearance fee” in order to comply with some new regulations before they’ll release my $6,000. I’ve never encountered a fee like this before, and I’ve worked with several trading platforms that never asked for such charges. It seems like they are fabricating reasons to delay my withdrawal. There were no mention of any compliance-related fees when I first signed up, and I’m beginning to feel like this is a way to hold my money hostage. Has anyone else had to pay a “compliance clearance fee”? Is it common for trading platforms to charge this type of fee?
