Avafundify is now asking me for a $1,900 "account verification tax"

I already completed identity verification weeks ago and even received confirmation that my documents were approved. Why would there suddenly be a tax linked to verification? When I pushed back, they claimed it’s a policy enforced by “cross-border financial regulations” and must be paid in advance. I’ve used other trading platforms before and never encountered this. Most legitimate companies would either deduct fees from your funds or disclose them up front. They keep saying this is a refundable one-time fee, but I’ve heard that line before. I already paid an “administrative review charge” last month and nothing happened. Now they’re just piling on new reasons to hold my money hostage. I feel completely trapped. It’s starting to look like a classic scam where they keep inventing charges until you stop paying or give up entirely. Has anyone else dealt with this so-called “account verification tax” or had a similar experience with Avafundify?
