Spot XRP ETFs Experience Significant Capital Inflows
During the week ending August 24, 2026, US spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded a net inflow surpassing $110 million, marking the largest weekly inflow in nine months. Data from SoSoValue shows that as of August 31, total assets under management for spot XRP ETFs reached approximately $1.44 billion.
Among individual ETFs, the Bitwise XRP ETF led inflows with nearly $60 million during the week, increasing its assets under management to about $503 million. Another notable fund, the Franklin XRP ETF, added roughly $28.7 million, bringing its asset size close to $367 million. Spot XRP ETFs have now posted net inflows for seven consecutive weeks, cumulatively exceeding $183 million. This latest inflow marks the first time since December 5, 2025, that spot XRP ETFs have attracted over $100 million in a single week, highlighting renewed attention from investors toward the digital asset.
XRP Token Price and Market Dynamics
Despite the strong capital inflows into spot XRP ETFs, the XRP token price declined 8.23% over the past seven days, trading at approximately $1.37. Trading volume surged 117% within the last 24 hours to $2.76 billion, indicating heightened market activity. XRP's market capitalization stands at about $86.31 billion, reflecting nearly a 19% increase over the past month. The divergence between inflows and price performance suggests underlying market adjustments that could lead to increased price volatility.
Growing demand for XRP ETFs has contributed to a more optimistic market mood, bolstering buyer confidence. Market observers note that despite the recent pullback in price, XRP may be positioning for another upward movement.
Investor Sentiment and Regulatory Considerations
The sustained inflows into spot XRP ETFs signal a revived investor interest in blockchain-based payment assets and underscore improving conditions within the US digital asset market. However, the simultaneous price fluctuations and elevated trading volumes underscore the need for cautious risk management. ETF managers and market participants are advised to monitor capital flows and price movements closely to adapt their strategies amid potential volatility and evolving regulatory frameworks.
