Starknet (STRK), LayerZero (ZRO) and NEAR Protocol (NEAR) rose 81.7%, 21.7% and 12.3%, respectively, over seven days in the second week of October, putting them among CoinGecko’s stronger-performing altcoins. Their charts tell different stories: STRK led the gains but showed fading momentum, ZRO tested a long-standing resistance level, and NEAR held above a key Fibonacci retracement.
CoinGecko data placed Bitway (BTW) second on the seven-day gainers list, but its relatively low trading volume meant it was not included among the three tokens examined here. The prices and technical levels below reflect conditions at the time of publication and do not indicate how the tokens performed afterward.
STRK: 81.7% weekly gain ahead of a 127 million-token unlock
STRK gained nearly 110% over the previous week, but its rally stalled near $0.12. Despite an 81.7% advance over seven days, the weekly chart showed momentum easing, creating a gap between the token’s strong recent performance and its short-term technical picture.
The weekly Relative Strength Index (RSI) fell to 65 from 77, which had been in overbought territory. Traders were also watching an October 15 token unlock, when 127 million STRK are due to be released. The unlock will add to the circulating supply; its effect on selling pressure will depend on what holders do with the tokens.
On the downside, $0.083 is a level to watch. A break below it would put $0.06 in view. If STRK climbs back above $0.12, the next reference levels are $0.151 and then $0.181. The rally previously stalled around $0.12, making that price an important marker for whether the advance can regain traction.
ZRO: Break above $2.19 puts $3 in focus
ZRO traded at $2.40 at the time of publication, up 17.8% in 24 hours and 21.7% over seven days. The token had moved above $2.19, a significant resistance level that had repeatedly capped rebounds for more than a year. Whether the price can hold above that level is now central to the near-term outlook.
If ZRO stays above $2.19, attention may turn to whether it can move closer to $3. A drop back below the former resistance would leave the durability of the breakout in question. Seven-day trading volume was also rising, although no specific volume figure was provided, making it difficult to assess whether buying activity can be sustained.
NEAR: Holding above the 0.618 Fibonacci level, with $6.66 ahead
NEAR rose 12.3% over seven days, the smallest gain among the three tokens, but its chart remained above a key support area. The price was holding above the 0.618 Fibonacci level, with $6.66 identified as the next upside level to watch.
Maintaining that Fibonacci level could shape how traders assess the current move; a loss of support could change the short-term technical picture. No specific NEAR price or price value for the support level was provided, so $6.66 should be treated as a cited target rather than a confirmed breakout level.
Three tokens, three different market signals
Seven-day gains alone do not capture the differences among the three tokens. STRK posted the biggest advance, but its RSI had eased and a token unlock was approaching. ZRO moved above $2.19, a level that had repeatedly held back rebounds, while NEAR’s key test was whether it could stay above the 0.618 Fibonacci level. For traders, gains, trading volume, resistance and changes in token supply all form part of the picture; no single indicator establishes whether a move will continue.
