The founder of Matrix Partners is Zhang Ying, who holds a degree from the Department of Neurobiology at the University of California, San Francisco. Matrix Partners has seven specialized post-investment teams that provide comprehensive support and services for its portfolio companies. These teams include Capital, Recruitment, Medical Services, Government Relations, Public Relations, Legal, and Data & Finance. The team comprises over 100 members, including more than 40 investment professionals and over 80 post-investment support team members.
Matrix Partners manages at least four U.S. dollar funds and six RMB funds, including Matrix China Fund I, Matrix China Fund II, Matrix China Fund III, Hangzhou Wanfeng Jinyuan Jingxin Equity Investment Partnership (LP), Matrix (Hangzhou) Venture Capital Partnership (LP), and Matrix Chuangda (Hangzhou) Venture Capital Partnership (LP).
