Development History
In 2008, SouNiu launched Financial Search 1.0, marking the start of search-engine-style financial vertical services. Subsequently, SouNiu collaborated with Harbin Institute of Technology to introduce natural language processing (NLP) technology. In 2011, SouNiu upgraded to semantic understanding mode, launching iAskFinance 1.0.
In 2012, the semantic parsing system was further upgraded, launching iAskFinance 2.0. In 2015, speech semantics was comprehensively upgraded with the launch of iAskFinance 3.0. In 2017, iAskFinance launched new features such as intelligent outbound calls, intelligent customer service, voice quality inspection, and iAskFinance 4.0. In 2018, iAskFinance launched the first intelligent investment advisory robot in China.
In 2019, iAskFinance appeared on CCTV2's "Dialogue" program and participated in the "China Stock Market: Thirty-Year-Old" interactive program. In the same year, iAskFinance launched a new web version. In 2020, iAskFinance ranked third in the global reading comprehension competition SQuAD2.0, achieving first place in a single model. In 2021, iAskFinance ranked first in the cross-lingual dialogue state tracking task at the top global dialogue system technology competition DSTC9, and two research outcomes from this competition have been accepted at the AAAI-2021 workshop conference.
