The New York Institute of Finance (NYIF) was founded by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in 1922, initially named the New York Stock Exchange Institute. It aimed to provide financial education and training to the employees of the Exchange and its member companies. It was later renamed to the New York Institute of Finance, expanding the scope of its courses to cover all aspects of the securities industry for the employees of the member companies.
