Bitcoin is struggling to hold near $80,000 after three consecutive weekly declines, as volatility in global equities and subdued investor confidence weigh on crypto markets. In the final week of October, MemeCore (M), Ethena (ENA) and Zcash (ZEC) showed relative strength, with signs of a rebound, tightening trading ranges and increased inflows. Whether they can hold key price levels will help shape the near-term outlook.
At the time of the market snapshot, MemeCore was trading at $0.97, with support at $0.75 and resistance at $0.976 and $1.75. Ethena stood at $0.205, with support at $0.188 and resistance at $0.244. Zcash was at $1,228, with $1,091, $1,234 and $1,411 in focus. The relative strength index (RSI) for all three tokens was in neutral territory, offering no clear directional signal.
MemeCore rebounds 44%, but its downtrend remains intact
MemeCore gained nearly 44% over the past week, but the token had been weakening for several months, leaving it unclear whether the rebound can reverse the broader trend. Its price is approaching resistance at $0.976. A recent attempt to break above $1 met selling pressure, suggesting buyers have yet to take clear control.
A sustained move above $0.976 could lend support to the recovery, with the next major resistance at $1.75. If the token is rejected again near current levels, it could retreat toward support around $0.75. The RSI has returned to neutral, pointing to improving momentum, but the earlier downtrend remains in place unless a decisive breakout takes hold.
Ethena traders watch the $0.188 support level
Ethena rose nearly 8% in a week and has been making progressively higher lows since August. More recently, its trading range has narrowed as volume has declined and the Bollinger Bands have tightened. Those conditions suggest the market may be waiting for a fresh catalyst, but do not indicate which way the next move will go.
ENA has repeatedly held support at $0.188, attracting buyers even after a token unlock in October. If buyers continue to defend that level, resistance at $0.244 is the next price area to watch. A break below $0.188 would weaken the recent rebound structure. Higher lows currently favor buyers, though the direction of the next move is not confirmed.
Zcash inflows rise as price tests $1,234
Zcash gained 7% this week. Weekly inflows into Grayscale's Zcash investment product reached $41.1 million, the highest since mid-September, pointing to renewed institutional interest. The inflows do not settle the question of price direction, however, and ZEC still faces key technical levels.
ZEC is attempting to establish $1,234 as support. A daily close above that level could bring $1,411 into focus. If momentum fades, the price could fall back toward $1,091; a break below that support would weaken the recent recovery.
As with Ethena, Zcash has seen lower trading volume and tighter Bollinger Bands, while its RSI remains neutral. For now, the inflow data and ZEC's test of $1,234 are the key indicators to watch. None of the three tokens has yet confirmed a clear direction at its respective price levels.
