Arbitrum Token Experiences Significant Rally
Since hitting a historic low in June 2026, the Arbitrum (ARB) token has climbed approximately 90%. This upturn accelerated following Robinhood Chain’s network transaction fees reaching a new peak of $4.45 million on September 2. Currently, ARB trades near $0.1316, marking a 50% increase over the past week.
Robinhood Chain Transaction Fees Surge to All-Time High
Between August 31 and September 1, 2026, Robinhood Chain posted total transaction fees exceeding $10 million—a sharp 109% increase from previous levels. During most of August, daily fees remained below $400,000, making this surge an increase of over tenfold compared to prior peaks. Launched in July atop the Arbitrum network, Robinhood Chain processes its main trading volume primarily via Uniswap.
Under the Arbitrum ecosystem’s revenue sharing model, 8% of fees from the Orbit Chain go to Arbitrum DAO and 2% to the Developer Guild. On September 2 alone, this translates to roughly $320,000 allocated to the DAO.
Mainnet Arbitrum One’s Fees Remain Modest in Comparison
In contrast, Arbitrum One—the mainnet—handled nearly 1.94 million transactions over the same period but generated only 5.8 ETH (around $14,000) in fees. Robinhood Chain’s fees on September 2 were approximately 320 times higher than those of Arbitrum One, indicating that Robinhood Chain earned in under five minutes nearly as much as Arbitrum One made across an entire day.
Robinhood Chain’s average transaction fee has decreased to about $0.007, with no transaction backlog and an average block time of 0.242 seconds, underscoring ample scalability within the network.
Despite Increased Activity, Liquidity Has Yet to Fully Return
Despite the surge in transactions, Robinhood Chain’s total value locked (TVL) remains around $1.37 billion, down nearly two-thirds from its October 2025 peak exceeding $4 billion. This suggests limited capital inflow back into the network so far.
The Arbitrum Foundation reported $6.19 million in revenue with a 97% gross margin for the first half of 2026. Given current daily fee levels on Robinhood Chain, the network could match this six-month revenue within just 19 days.
ARB Faces Resistance Near $0.14–$0.145 Level
The ARB token maintains an overall uptrend, though momentum has recently slowed. Technical indicators identify a strong resistance zone between $0.14 and $0.145. A successful break above this range could open the path towards $0.15 and higher levels.
The spike in Robinhood Chain’s fees combined with ARB’s price recovery reflects evolving user activity and transaction dynamics within the Arbitrum ecosystem. Market participants will likely keep a close watch on fee trends and liquidity shifts as indicators of future network health.
